110327 Girls' Generation, 3 Months Since the End of 'Hoot' Promotions.. What are They Doing Now?

It's been 3 months since 9-member girl group Girls' Generation ended their 'Hoot' promotions. There has been great interest on what they have been doing in recent days.

Girls' Generation struck the music industry last October with 'Hoot'. They are currently taking a break from promotions in Korea after 2010's year end performances on all 3 of the major broadcasting channels.

However, being the most popular girl group, Girls' Generation is still busy.

Since the end of 'Hoot' promotions up until the devastating earthquake in Japan, the girls not only promoted in Japan, but they also filmed several commercials in Korea.

SM Entertainment, the music label Girls' Generation is currently in, revealed that on the 28th that "Girls' Generation is still actively filming commercials for Intel, Woongjin Coway water purifier, Vita500, etc".

110327 Intel reveals 3D version of "Visual Dreams"

On March 27th, Intel Korea revealed that they had shown a 3D version of their “Visual Dreams” music video featuring Girls’ Generation. On the 26th, Intel invited both consumers and Intel officials to an exclusive screening to watch the music video.

The “Visual Dreams” campaign was introduced earlier this year when Intel introduced their second generation core processor, except for this occasion; the video was re-introduced in 3D.
"Intel’s new technology makes 3D images easier and more fun to produce, as shown by a video episode," Intel officials said.

The video episode featured the Girls’ Generation members Taeyeon, Yoona, and Seohyun, all of whom who showed that Intel technology can be taken advantage of in your daily life with just a camera image. The episode consisted of the segments: “Seohyun’s Directorial Debut of her Music Video,” “Yoona’s Fashion,” and “Yoona’s confrontation with the Emperor of Starcraft 2 Terran: BOXER.”

On the 26th of March broadcast of "We Got Married", CNBLUE's Jung Yonghwa and Girls' Generation's Seohyun venture on their last date together.

Their last mission was to give each other the happiest day as their gift. Sure enough, both of them tried to make the date as special and as memorable as possible, but our Seohyun went the extra mile to make a last stunning impression in front of her on-screen husband.

110325 YongSeo's Last Mission

With the end near for MBC's 'We Got Married' couple Yongseo, fans are finally given an inkling of what will happen on their last episode. They will receive a final mission, which is to present to one another their happiest day as a last gift. The couple will also withdraw all savings from the joint account they created earlier (watch that episode here). They filmed late at night and many are anticipating as to what Yonghwa and Seohyun will present to each other on the special occasion.

“Himnae (Way to Go)”, the follow up track on SNSD’s first extremely popular mini-album, “Gee,” has been chosen as the #1 song to cheer up those who have been saddened by the recent Japanese earthquake on the music site Monkey3.

110319 SNSD Fan, Surprising Photoshopping Skills Garner Interest! 'Angry Photoshopping'

A SNSD fan's surprising photoshopping skills has been garnering attention.

A post under the title of 'A Skilled, Angry SNSD Fan' appeared on an online site, containing a photo where the fan photoshopped recent pictures SNSD took with Super Junior members for a couple photoshoot.

The original photos had SNSD members and Super Junior members with their arms around their shoulders, displaying affectionate poses. The fan that got angry over these photos took out the Super Junior members and placed Yuri and Yoona together, looking as if they were hugging each other.

SNSD member Tiffany's honey thighs have disappeared due to recent dieting.

Tiffany showed herself to the public at the Incheon International Airport to take part in the Hallyu Concert in Bangkok, Thailand. On this day, Tiffany wore a beige trench coat, matched with a black mini skirt, showing off a refined beauty.

However, her skinny thighs caught the eyes of many. Tiffany carried the title of 'honey thighs' for a while by showing off her healthy beauty, but her thinned facial line, arms and legs showed a different figure.

110307 Video Of SNSD Taeyeon's DJ Days Garners Attention "Pretty"

A SNSD fanmade Taeyeon video has been gaining popularity.

An online community recently posted a video under the topic title of 'Taeyeon, Pretty'. This video was made by a fan, using photos from when Taeyeon was active as a DJ on MBC FM Radio 'Taeyeon's ChinChin', as well as Shinhwa's 'Pretty' as the background music.

In the photos, Taeyeon can be seen making friendly and playful poses with fellow SNSD members, along with other guests and staff members.

110305 Girls' Generation's Vita500 Commercials Released

After a month of waiting, Vita500 has finally released their commercial spots featuring Girls' Generation. Each girl is featured in her own fifteen second commercial with a Vita500 bottle that has her respective face on it. Another fifteen second CF features all nine girls eating apples to get more vitamin C, and both fifteen and thirty second ads take parts from each girl's individual shoot and put them together. The girls wear light-colored clothes fit for springtime in the commercials, and show their individual personalities in each one. 110304 New Domino's Ad Campaign Featuring Girls' Generation

Domino's Pizza in South Korea has come out with a new advertising campaign featuring Girls' Generation with their hit song Oh! and the number 5. Domino's new promotion is that they are offering five different types of pizzas at a discounted price. While all nine girls participated in the commercial, only a maximum of five girls were on screen at one time, keeping with the "5" theme. The use of Oh! tied in with this theme as well, as the number five can be pronounced "oh" in Korean. Secondly, Oh! was used as an exclamation at the reduced prices of the pizzas. As usual, the girls are their bright and bubbly selves, and have gone back to the Oh! look with bright sporty outfits with the number 5 printed on their shirts.

110304 SNSD is selected as the #2 power girl group in Japan

SNSD are the stars of the Korean Boom in Japan and has been selected as the 2nd power group in Japan.

Japan’s “Nikkei Entertainment!” used last year’s average sales to predict the power ranking for Japanese girl groups this year.

According to Nikkei’s ranking, #1 goes to the Japanese SNSD, AKB48 they sold 679,000 copies and #2, SNSD sold 121,000 copies. KARA was selected as #3 and Perfume followed them at #4.
