Girl group SNSD have become the heroines of the 2010 Golden Disk Awards, receiving the Golden Disk Daesang.
Travelling back and forth between Korea and Japan, SNSD attracted popularity with 'Oh!' and 'Run Devil Run' in the first half of the year, and with 'Hoot' in the latter. Today, SNSD also won the Digital Bonsang and Ceci Popularity Award, achieving a Triple Crown. With their win of the Digital Daesang at the Awards last year, SNSD have become the first ever artists in history to be a winner of both Digital and Disk Daesangs.

Having already won the Ceci Popularity Award and Digital Bonsang, the members had remained composed, but as soon as they were announced the winners, their shock and joy showed through their pouring tears. They also thanked their sunbaes Super Junior and DBSK for "lighting their road forward".
